Summary:
The New York Harbor School integrates New York City’s maritime resources, culture and history into a challenging curriculum that prepares students for success in college and career. Designated in 2009 as a Career and Technical Education school, the school offers programs in Marine Technology, Aquaculture, Marine Robotics, SCUBA Diving, Marine Policy and Lifeguarding. In September 2010, the Harbor School will move to its new facility and become the first public school on Governors Island.
