Summary:
Founded in 2009, The UA Institute for New Technologies graduates thinkers who can problem solve, innovate, and use new technologies to direct their own learning. At New Tech the classroom is more of a sandbox where students grapple with ambiguity and the right question trumps the right answer. By using new technologies students explore the world far beyond the classroom, develop 21st century literacy skills, collaborate with others, and learn through high quality feedback. Our mission is to develop key cognitive strategies that prepare our students to construct and manage their own learning.
