In addition, students take a second science class that focuses on wildlife conservation topics. In every classroom, students ask questions, learn how to find answers, test their results, and publicly present their work just as scientists and other professionals do in the real world. The Bronx Zoo’s living exhibits are extended classrooms where students learn about and participate in local, national, and global efforts to conserve the natural world. UASWC students engage in college and career exploration, and enrichment activities through collaborations with our dynamic partnerships with institutions of higher education, community, local and national organizations.
