Urban Assembly Director of Algebra Success Shantay Mobley penned an op-ed for The Hechinger Report on the importance of training and support of teachers to master instruction of a curriculum, rather than always trying to find a perfect curriculum that doesn't exist.

After the earthquake and before the eclipse another major event occurred: The Urban Assembly Innovation in Education Luncheon!

The afternoon was filled with incredible insight on the future of education from President of Fund for the City of New York, Lisette Nieves, Principal Researcher at American Institutes for Research, Orrin Murray, NYC Council Members Jennifer Gutiérrez and Rita Joseph, and UA Managing Director of Program Habib Bangura.
