On June 5th at the Museum of Tolerance, The Urban Assembly hosted its first-ever Young Men's Success Institute sponsored and lead by The Black Man Can organization (http://theblackmancan.org/).
Urban Assembly students from UA Unison School, UA School for the Performing Arts, and UA School of Music and Arts attended workshops led by young, professional, and successful African American men on the following topics:
- Financial Literacy
- Passion to Profits
- Leadership: Creating a Mind Without Borders
- Public Speaking
- Networking
- Building Brotherhood
- Being Well-Dressed
- Media Literacy
- Life Choices & Skills
It was truly an amazing event for our young men and we look forward to hosting it again in the future.
