Who We Are
The Urban Assembly is a school support agency that develops learning tools and programs that enhance student growth and school performance. Our mission is to advance students' social and economic mobility by improving public education.
In partnership with the NYC Department of Education, the Urban Assembly has a network of small, high-performing career-themed public schools. Our schools offer specialized education without admissions screening - open and accessible to all students. We meet students where they are and help them grow and achieve.
We share our innovative tools, programs, and learning solutions with schools, districts, and education leaders around the country, improving public education and influencing public policy around education.
